The age of 33

It's to die for

A lot of my friends from Argentina seem to agree that 33 is an awesome age because it was at the age of 33 when Jesus Christ was crucified. I didn't understand why that fact makes it a "great age," Is it perhaps a great age to die?

Friends Reunited, a U.K. website, found that 70 percent of respondents over the age of 40 said they did not find true happiness until they were 33 years old.

"[33] is enough time to have shaken off childhood naivety and the wild scheming of teen-aged years without losing the energy and enthusiasm of youth," Donna Dawson, a psychologist, told Fox's Washington, D.C., affiliate.

"Innocence has been lost, but our sense of reality is mixed with a strong sense of hope, a 'can do' spirit, and a healthy belief in our own talents and abilities." she added

My mom cryrified the dilema. Jesus Christ was crusified at the age of 33, yes, but he also resurrected at that age.

His resurrection could symbolize hope for a better tomorrow. Whatever happens, whatever we do and however we managed to mess up our life, there is always a way to start over with conviction that it will lead to happier times. And what better time to start doing that than the age of 33.

Happy 33 to me!

Here's for better and happier times.

Cheers.
