May the 4th be with you
Holy crap... this passed couple weeks was a great time for newspapers! SO much has happened!

Casey Abrams voted out from American Idol
First and for most... I can not believe Casey Abrams was voted out from American Idol! WHA? Why America? WHY?

I think Casey Abrams is my favorite American Idol singer ever... (though I rarely watch the show after the casting weeks) I should have voted for him... Oops.

Paul McDonald's Teeth
Talking about American Idol, what's up with Paul McDonald's teeth? Right? Everyone wish to have white teeth but those things are crazy white...

It reminded me to the episode of Friends when Ross over-whitens his teeth (So funny!)

US politics' Circus

Well, I rally do not like to talk about politics... I know, I know... everybody should be involved in politics some how.

But politics makes me so mad and frustrates me not being able to actually do something about it.

But the passed few weeks all what people talked about was about the circus that is US's politics:

Donald Trump for President
First, it was rumored that Donald Trump was thinking to run to be the President of the United States of America. At first I thought that would be hilarious!

Not taking in consideration his policies and opinion about anything, he would be like Arnold Schwarzenegger, epic former governor of the State of California. (Seeing people with the image of The Terminator and words that reads "My Governor" it's simply COOLNESS at its fulness)

Donald Trump is a famous millionaire-celebrity, though he declared bankruptcy a couple times, he is the successful owner of many buildings and businesses including the Miss Universe competition.

Lately he became (even more) popular with his long running reality show and the patented phrase "You're fired."

Thinking that he could be the president of this country, is kind of creepy and sad... like seeing in the Italian Parliament the former porn-star Ilona Staller (Better known as "la Cicciolina,")

I thought there was no way that people would ever vote for him, but people really like him... so it is really possible.

ANYWAY

President Obama's Birth certificate & Harvard
He was also in the center of the news again when (promoting his almost official candidature) intimated President Barrack Obama to show his Birth certificate and prove that he is in fact American.

When the president showed his birth Certificate, Trump questioned how did Obama graduated from Harvard University and insinuated that the only reason Obama got in to that University was because he was black.

Oh yeah... awesome fights going on all over the news about this topics.

Obama's timing for announcement questioned
Kind of like paying back, (or by mere coincidence) Barrack Obama announced in a televised address to the nation that Osama bin Laden has been killed... the announcement was made an hour later that it was expected... right when Donald Trump's reality show should be on.

Osama Bin Laden has been killed
"Osama Bin Laden is dead!" President Obama announced Sunday night. His death was the result of a U.S. operation launched today in Abbottabad, Pakistan, against a compound where bin Laden was believed to be hiding, according to U.S. intelligence.

After a firefight, a small team of American forces killed bin Laden and took possession of his body, the president said.

“Tonight I can report to the American people and the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama Bin Laden,” Obama said during brief remarks at the White House. “Justice has been done,” he assured.

After hearing the news many Americans went out to the streets to celebrate the death of whom would be the main responsible of the infamous 9/11 attacks.

Pakistan is mad
Pakistan, where Osama was killed, manifested its disapproval to the US. Apparently Pakistan had no idea that the US was up to.

Hillary Clinton lies
Which was weird, because Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton (Wife of former president Bill Clinton who got some what popular for his own scandal, the "Sexgate") said, publicly, that Pakistan's government knew about US affairs in Pakistan. (Pakistand, agagin, denies this statement, making this a she said, he said.

Too gruesome prove
People started to kind of question if the terrorist was actually killed as announced by Obama. As today there is not physical prove that Osama Bin Laden has actually been killed since his body was dropped in the middle of the ocean, and apparently, the video that filmed the experience is "too gruesome" to show to the people.

A Royal Wedding & Tornadoes that killed hundreds in Alabama
This political ordeal overshadowed other big news like the many tornadoes that killed hundreds of people in the state of Alabama, or the Royal Wedding with billions of people watching it live on TV and/or the internet making it the most watched single event in the history of television.

UPDATE MAY/08/2011
Pope John Paul II made a "Saint"
A reader wrote me to let me know that during the same week Pope John Paul II was being beatified in St. Peter's Square or Piazza San Pietro, (in the Vatican City/Rome, Italy) which was some what controversial.

The Vatican in Rome, which fast-tracked Pope John Paul II on the road to sainthood that seems based more on good intentions and less on miracles.

Pope Benedict XVI waves to pilgrims in front of a poster of Pope John Paul II,
on his arrival for his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican on May 4.
