Must know
If you are planning to come to Rexburg for graduation there are some things you should take in consideration. So here is a list of things you should know before heading to the wide white north: Rexburg, Idaho.
ON LINE
If you are not planning to come but you wish to watch the ceremony on line BYU I Comm is supposedly going to stream the Graduation ceremony on Saturday morning Live On Line.
(Thought University Relations assured me that this is the case, I had no confirmation from ICOMM)
DATES & TIMES
Graduation Banquet
The graduation banquet is sponsored by the Alumni Association (208)496-3300. Graduates, family members, and friends are welcome. Tickets are required.
Date: Friday, April 8
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: The Crossroads in the Manwaring Center (MC)

College Convocation
College Convocations are conducted by college, with each graduate's name read individually. Business and Communication graduates will receive a diploma cover and shake hands with those presiding. Tickets are not required to attend Convocation.

Commencement
Commencement is a gathering of all graduates where degrees are conferred and attendees receive counsel and recognition from the president of BYU-Idaho, a member of the Board of Trustees or its designee, and other guests. Tickets are required.
Date: Saturday, April 9
Time: 8:00 AM
Location: BYU-Idaho Center
The Processional will begin at 8:40 a.m.

It was nice for a couple days, but today it started raining and snowing. So be aware, dress accordingly and drive carefully!
BYU-IDAHO DIRECTIONS
Exit I-15 at Sage Junction onto Hwy 33, which brings you directly onto Main Street of Rexburg.
Approximate distance is 21 miles.
Heading North on I-15
From I-15 in Idaho Falls, take exit 119 to US 20, heading toward Rigby and West Yellowstone. After approximately 25 miles, exit US 20 at the South Rexburg/BYU–Idaho exit and turn right. At the light, continue on University Blvd.
From the Idaho Falls Airport
As you exit the Idaho Falls Airport, turn left at the first stop light which puts you directly onto US 20 (see above instructions).

Thousands of people are anticipated on campus. Event parking in university lots is accessible the day of an event. However, yellow zones, service vehicle spaces, and reserved areas are not available for parking. City permit regulations will not be enforced.
Disability parking is available in the South BYU-Idaho Center Parking Lot for those who have a disability-parking permit.
To ensure adequate parking for guests and visitors, students living near campus are encouraged to walk or carpool.
The following services have been made available near the BYU-Idaho Center:
- Handicap parking in the lot south of the building
- Three drop-off zones adjacent to the facility
- Parking attendants directing visitors to the closest available spaces
Reviewing the BYU-Idaho map and directions to campus found on this site may help simplify the parking process. Parking is often more readily available on the east side of campus.

BYU-IDAHO CENTER SEATING
Patron seating will begin an hour and a half before an event. The audience needs to be seated 30 minutes prior to the event to guarantee seating. Saving seats is not permitted. Groups should plan to arrive together.
