I stopped by the famous Ellis Island where all the immigrants used to stop by until they were cleared-out to go inland.
I found a Bogado among the pioneer immigrants. (She came from Paraguay! There is definitely something about the Bogados and Paraguay and I will find out more that)
"White Man's Neighborhood"
Judging by the pictures and posters showed in the exposition of back then, the US seems to have had problems with immigrations since... forever.
