"Top Ten Website of the Year"
Websites & blogs
So, just as a BTW, the previous post was the highest visited post on my blog ever... surpassing "Ad of the week" and the "Road trips", which had an average of 150 daily visits. I am focusing my blog to my work... and a little bit less about my personal life...
But I still will be posting about my trips and outstanding events. Thank you for still caring and visiting my blog.
The transition from MeLasTome.blogspot.com to here (oHBrepublic.blogspot.com) was sudden and I thought no one would visit my blog anymore. But you prove me wrong, I have more visitors now than before. Thank you!~
What's coming
I am about to be done with my personal website (My online portfolio)... It will be officially be up June 30th with a big party in Las Vegas... (I will be telling you more about this later)
But you can drop by oHBrepublic.com and look around and tell me what you think. I really need feedback.
OK as I was saying my previous post was the most popular post so far. Which it makes sense since it was was about the website Mormon.org getting awards for its design. (Obviously, there is something noways about Mormons, isn't there)
Well this week, that same website got another award: "Top Ten Websites of the Year"
Awarded, again
Mormon.org Named to Interactive Media Awards's "Top Ten Websites of the Year"
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ mormon.org website was selected as one of Interactive Media Awards (IMA) “Top Ten Websites of the Year” this week.*
The Interactive Media Awards™ recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement.
Award judges considered more than 4,000 entries from 53 countries and all 50 states. According to the IMA, 36 nominees represent the sites with the highest-scoring evaluations from among the Best in Class winners.
From those 36, IMA judges select the top ten, and winners are determined by popular vote. Other winners included Disney and Zappos.
"Everyone on the Mormon.org team was pleased with the recognition from Interactive Media Awards," said Ron Wilson, mormon.org’s product manager.
"It's very rewarding to have a website that we have put our hearts into get recognized as the best in its category and one of the ten best for the year by IMA. The truth is that mormon.org would not be much of a website without participation from Church members."
"Every time Church members create a profile and share their thoughts and testimonies, it makes the site that much better. We encourage all Church members to create their profile at mormon.org/create."
