"Rapes in Rexburg" (Shhhh! Who wants to know about that?)

That's so inappropriate

Last Week the BYU-I Newspaper [Scroll] shocked the cities of Eastern Idaho revealing in its front page's headline that Hospitals records showed more rapes cases than police reports to the media.

The article question the reason why The city didn't show the actual numbers of this crime.

To quiet-down Rape cases in Rexburg? To maintain the conservative and “Family oriented” nickname that Rexburg is known for? Maybe, Who knows?

This week though, a concern student from same university sent a letter that said: “Who thought an article about rape would be a great headline?” and she continued “I think the front page could have been reserved for something more inspiring, or at least positive.”
